The Solar Eclipse, America and President Trump

WE the people are in dark times, we are collectively changing, as people, as a society, a country and the world. And we are the world's leader. What happens with us, will effectively change the world. Extremism, on both sides is ripping the country apart, fueled by partisan politics and a biased media. This is all happening under the shadow of one of the biggest astrological and astronomical events of our time, the Solar Eclipse, which is calling for us all to change. But we have to be open to see where we need to change.

The response from the President on Boston displayed the same old divisive president, still in ego, thinking its us against them. He's undisciplined, he is human. This is just a part of who he is as a person, and he attacked, tweeting "Looks like many anti-police agitators in Boston. Police are looking tough and smart! Thank you." Which of course he felt was necessary, because he knows that President Obama was not as supportive publicly of the police, and he knew it would please his base. He followed that with another tweet, this time leaving out the protestors and just supported the police. But the next tweet was different , it was as if someone grabbed the presidents ear. He tweeted out "I want to applaud the many protestors in Boston who are speaking out against bigotry and hate. Our country will soon come together as one! Did he just say that? Yes, he did. And he followed it with this, "Sometimes you need protest in order to heal, & we will heal, & be stronger than ever before! Breibart's response was "Donald Trump Praises Anti-Hate Protesters." While CNN's' headline was Trump applauds protestors for speaking out against bigotry and hate." The media is driving us apart.

Both the Washington Post and The New York Times had headlines that spoke about the amount of counter protestors and of course Steve Bannon's departure. Our former democratic leaders, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton tweeted, nothing.

Bernie Sanders did tweet, but it was not about the Antifa throwing bags of urine and feces on our police, it was about about Steve Bannon. And nothing from Tom Perez, Sen. Chuck Schumer..... nothing.... Perez writing "across the country, we're getting ready to #RiseAndOrganize." with a link to the resist movement. The Boston protest went very well and nobody was hurt, but many tried. According to ABC news 0ver 40 thousand protested the conservative free speech rally. 33 arrests were made, mostly from disorderly conduct and most assaults on police officers from the Antifa, the agitators..but nothing from Democrats. Earlier this week in a facebook post a sitting Senator from Missouri, Maria Chappelle-Nadal's wrote, "I hope Trump is assassinated. REALLY?! This is insane, undisciplined and she needs to be reprimanded. But of course the democratic Senator has not been and will not. An apology is what we got, If this does not make you outraged, than you are not listening...... to both sides.

That last sentence is something many of my friends have been posting on social media, only about the President, and they are right, however It goes both ways, that's the entire point of what is happening in our country. We are not having a conversation with anyone who disagrees politically with us, we are using the President who is saying really stupid things on twitter and media driven talking points to satisfy whichever side you espouse. I am watching people I know, who don't even like Mr Trump get taken down by financially fueled politically driven, agenda based corporations, because of the hate in their heart. This is wrong, and its hate filled. The Neo Nazi's are hate filled. There is not just one hate there is no black and white. There are shades of grey, thank you Grateful Dead. Hollywood needs to take a lesson from its own, in Star Wars Revenge of the Sith when Anakin and Obi Won square off at the end of the film Anakin reveling in his power says he has brought law and order and stability to the galaxy.

"If you're not with me, then you're my enemy," Hayden Christensen's Anakin (soon to become villain Darth Vader) tells former mentor Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor). In which Obi Wan says only a Sith deals in absolutes. Siths, were warriors driven by an agenda of galactic domination and revenge against their forebears, the selfless, knightly Jedi. Donald Trump is not a Sith, however he needs to check himself.

Nazis and white supremacist. are a small group of people, they are Siths. Conservatives are not affiliated with them. Conservatives are not evil or racist. They have different ideas, mostly financially about how to move the country and the economy forward. There are populist and independents and libertarians, that have conservative ideals. On the other side there are liberals and there are democrats, progressive democrats, and even socialists and some communist. Antifa is a far-left militant political movement that commits violence, they have an agenda of violence they may be close to becoming Siths. Stay woke America.

Right now our job as Americans, Donald Trumps job as president, the country's job is to look within, to talk to one another not make one sided arguments on social media, actually have the conversation, the one that talking points TV is not making the two sided conversation that radio has co-opted into one side. The Solar eclipse is in the sky today it's reflecting the change on the ground we literally must go through the dark to get to the light. Its the conversation that will heal and makes us stronger, the conversation that includes us all, all americans right, left, indifferent, passionate, we are not a racist country we are women men, gay, straight, trans, bi, human and the most imperfect beings in all our glory.
