Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" is hitting high notes at BillboardFox News Radio · May 2026 · Music

Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" is two-stepping her way towards Billboard history with a 10th week at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Only four percent of all leaders over the survey's 67-year history have reached the milestone, and the achievement is even rarer among country hits.

"Choosin' Texas" is one of just four songs to rule the Hot 100 for 10 or more weeks and make the Hot Country Songs top five. Notably, three have done so in the last three-plus years, including Shaboozey's "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" and Morgan Wallen's "Last Night."Debby Boone's "You Light Up My Life" was the first song ever to dominate the Hot 100 for double-digit weeks and hit number four on Hot Country Songs, back in 1977.

Langley sets another mark on the latest Hot 100, with "Be Her" holding at number two. That makes her the first artist known primarily for country music to claim the chart's top two spots simultaneously for multiple weeks.

A brand-new "Rubber Soul" brings an unheard John Lennon song. Fox News Radio · July 2026 · Music

A brand-new special edition of the Beatles album "Rubber Soul," out October 2nd, will feature 23 previously unreleased recordings, mostly early takes and demos, plus an entirely unheard John Lennon song: "Little Girl," a home recording from 1965 that has remained a closely guarded secret for decades. Rolling Stone describes the song, in part, as "a fragile, gorgeous, bittersweet little tune," just John and his acoustic guitar, adding that it's reminiscent of "I'm Only Sleeping."

The song doesn't feature any additional contributions from the surviving Beatles, unlike 2023's "final" Beatles song, "Now and Then," a Lennon demo retrospectively finished by Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, using parts George Harrison recorded for the original "Anthology" project. A previously unreleased early take of "Michelle" is streaming now.

Spencer Pratt's "Fresh Prince" campaign ad goes viralFox News Radio · May 2026 · Culture and politics

Another Spencer Pratt Los Angeles mayoral ad has gone viral. In the latest, Pratt dubbed himself the newest "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air." In a spoof of the Will Smith '90s sitcom theme song, Pratt raps about being forced to flee his home after the Palisades fire, towing his Airstream through the streets of Bel-Air. He drops TMZ chief Harvey Levin's name, after Levin broke a story last week that Pratt was actually living at the Hotel Bel-Air.

At one point, Pratt spray-paints "They let us burn!" on a barricade wall before pulling up to the swanky hotel. He captioned the post: "Now this is a story all about how my life got flipped, turned upside down."

One person commented: "This is simply awesome. Your campaign continues to pump out hilarious media that your competitors simply can't match." Others have not been so impressed. Another posted on X: "Just what LA needs is another failed TV star running for office."Pratt is running against incumbent Mayor Karen Bass, who leads in the polls, and City Councilwoman Nithya Raman.
